Studio 18 Body Jewellery uses high quality grade 23 Titanium also know as 6al4v this grade of titanium is a perfect grade for body piercing jewellery. It gives a high quality polish finish ideal for body piercing and gives a high quality coloured finish when anodised. Studio 18 Body Jewellery is renowned for its bright colours on its Titanium piercing jewellery especially the two tone coloured titanium range. We could not achieve this with poorer quality grades of Titanium that are cheaper and not so suited to body piercing as there are possible situations where other grades might cause skin discolouration.

We pay close attention to thread quality ensuring balls will glide on every time. When body piercing, we consider there is nothing worse than an ill fitting ball when piercing a client.

We use Swarovski jewels in our body piercing jewellery, they are, by far, the best quality and are always supplied with a very tight tolerance. This is of great importance as we do not glue any of the jewels in to our piercing jewellery. The jewels in all of our body jewellery are press fit, meaning we machine a jewel seat in to the item and attach the jewel by fitting it and then pressing the Titanium around it over the edge of the jewel to secure a guaranteed fitment. Our jewels are all press fit so there is nothing to fail when they are autoclaved and you can be guaranteed the jewel will not come out.
This is also the case for our Surgical Steel body jewellery.

Please note, there are a few exceptions with jewel colours available in some Gem Balls, Dermal Anchors and Skin Divers.
